Creation of a demonstrator for @SEA. The @SEA is an on-line self-service dashboard allowing users to create: (1) rich vessel reports including accurate voyage logs based on actual vessel behaviour incl. in-port relocations, sea state and weather at each journey leg and exposure to risk factors (e.g. piracy, sea ice, shallow waters); and (2) offshore/nearshore site reports with long term weather and sea state statistics, known infrastructure, bathymetry and shipping traffic. The demonstrator shall validate the necessary data sources, produce and test data fusion process and create a prototype app operating on a local computer. All scripts shall be docker ready to allow very fast cloud integration during productization phase.

| One of the main segments for @SEA are the developers and investors in novel renewable energy offshore. Currently, the costs of site survey information is prohibitively high for many novel renewable energy ventures. @SEA shall remove this hurdle. | ||

The interest in green and sustainable development is growing in energy market, food supply, goods logistics and Leisure particularly in offshore and coastal areas. It is currently very expensive to source a trustworthy site report and even more so find globally sites that fulfil project requirements. Customers are being often sold expensive and unnecessarily detailed in-situ surveys where remote sensing data could satisfy the requirements. Using its rich data repositories and models atSEA makes basic site reports affordable and easily accessible. During this demonstration project, Analytics Pika Oy identified, validated and engineered together lots of international data sources and designed a site report that can be delivered through fully robotic process. The site environmental awareness report has been created to enable investors, project managers and local planners to make well informed decisions maximizing the return on investment and minimizing project risk exposure. Evidence based planning ensures best possible utilization of resources, minimization of environmental impact and seamless integration within natural or built environments. The understanding of the local climate promotes integration of renewable power generation from small local prosumers to large national level developments. It allows better choices of materials and technologies, benefiting sustainable architecture based on sound understanding of climate and environmental factors instead of reliance on subjective believes. There is a wealth of applications where fast and reliable environmental awareness for a specific geographic location brings tangible financial rewards in project planning, tendering and execution. The created data and software infrastructure allows Analytics Pika to deliver rich reporting not only for static but also moving locations, like for example, marine vessels.
